Report an impersonator. It takes about a minute.
Tell us which account contacted you and who it is pretending to be. No account needed, and you can stay anonymous.
- We record the network, the handle and when it arrived.
- The rest is passed on as your account. We never decide who is behind an account.
- Never published, never shown to the account you reported.
What we do with your report
- We record the network, the handle and the time your report arrived. That much we witnessed, and we will say so.
- Everything else is your account of what happened, passed on as yours. We do not decide who is behind an account. The person being copied decides, and acts.
- We also keep a scrambled trace of your connection, so one person cannot file the same thing a hundred times. It is not your address and it cannot be turned back into one.
- What you write is never published and never shown to the account you reported. If you leave a way to reach you, only the person being copied sees it.
- If staff reviews reports on the same handle by hand and finds them credible, a search for that handle may say so afterwards. Never who it copies, never what anyone wrote, never who reported it.
