Proof is free.Everything else is a plan.
Verifying who you are, and the page that shows it, will never cost anything. Paid plans buy you room: more proven accounts, more domains, a page that posts, and a smaller cut when you withdraw what you earn.

Questions, answered
Does my badge disappear if I stop paying?
No, and nothing you already have goes away either. A proven account stays proven. That is the whole point of proof. Posts you have published stay published, domains you have proven stay proven. A smaller plan only stops you adding more.
Why does the free plan need @whoseid.io in my bio?
Because that mention is what pays for a free public page. It is not a second check on your account: your proof is done once, by the code, and it never expires. On a paid plan you pay in money instead, and the mention is yours to remove.
Do you keep my photos, or my face?
We keep fingerprints. Protected media is matched by a perceptual fingerprint of how it looks, and for the FaceID check the capture is discarded once judged. Nothing biometric ever appears publicly, only the badge.
Why is verification free?
A registry only proves something if any creator can join it. Charging for proof would turn the badge into a sticker you rent, and your page is free for the same reason. Paid plans fund what actually costs us to run, such as biometric checks and human review, and they buy you room: more accounts, more domains, a page that posts.
Can WhoseID take a stolen copy down?
WhoseID attests what it has observed and hands you the evidence. We never declare an account guilty. You decide what to report, with proof in hand.
Everything that proves who you are is free, and stays free. A paid plan never buys a badge, and dropping one never takes a proof away. Content fingerprinting and the detections that depend on it are switched off until the work behind them is finished, so they appear on no plan here.
